Gatlinburg, Tennessee, gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, offers you a one-stop destination to enjoy four-season fun. Located within a day's drive of two-thirds of the American population east of the Mississippi River, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains feature a beautiful spot of pampered civilization nestled in one of the last tracts of unspoiled wilderness in the eastern United States. |

When you're not at the park, you'll find plenty to do in Gatlinburg. The world's largest aerial passenger tramway travels the mountainside from downtown Gatlinburg to Ober Gatlinburg Recreation Park. Ride the glass-enclosed elevator 342 feet above Gatlinburg at the Space Needle and Arcade. Explore the Gatlinburg Mysterious Mansion, which is filled with false panels, rotating walls, and sinking floors. You can enjoy musical comedies, a Gay Nine-ties review, Sweet Fanny Adams Theater and Music Hall, or the Smoky Mountain Jamboree (bluegrass and country music). Ripley's Believe It or Not and Guinness World Record museums are also in town. Now open in Gatlinburg is Ronnie Milsap's Keyboard Cafe; the performer offers local concerts throughout the year. |
